Brown Commercial Group negotiated five industrial transactions, including three in the O’Hare submarket, to support businesses that are expanding in the market. Broker Candace Scurto negotiated four of the transactions.
Scurto represented the landlord and tenant in a 12,400-square-foot lease in the O’Hare submarket that allowed the tenant to move in under a tight time frame. The Frank Cooney Company, a national furniture company, plans to use the space at 901 Touhy Ave. in Elk Grove Village to expand its overflow storage.
Scurto also represented a private investor in selling a 3,000-square-foot space at 333 E. Potter St. in Wood Dale, Illinois.
“The building is located in a highly desirable area, as it offers proximity to O’Hare International Airport and the lower tax structure of DuPage County,” said Scurto. “The property also has 7,500 square feet of outdoor storage, which is a rare commodity in today’s market. Given the strong market demand, we were able to secure a buyer quickly and put the property under contract within a few weeks.”
Scurto also represented Poco Kitchen, a food distributor, in leasing a 2,580-square-foot space at 440 Bonnie Lane in Elk Grove Village and D&M Millennium Construction Company in leasing a 1,050-square-foot space at 100-102 Touhy Court in Des Plaines.
The other transaction included a 3,942-square-foot lease at 4044 N. Nashville Ave. in Chicago. Broker Collin Tyrrell represented the landlord and tenant, Lampholder Assemblies, Inc. The tenant had to vacate a nearby building due to fire damage and Tyrrell was able to secure the new space quickly to help get the business back in operation within a short time period.
