Browning Investments announced that Velocity 65 Trade Center Building 2 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, is 100 percent leased on a long-term basis. The tenant will occupy the entire 908,600-square-foot facility along Interstate-65 in Shepherdsville.
Built in 2021, the building is cross-docked and features 90 loading docks and 36-foot clear heights. It is located on a 49-acre site at 200 Velocity Way within the Velocity 65 Trade Center, a 260-acre master planned industrial development due south of Louisville and the UPS Worldport along I-65. Corporate neighbors include notable e-commerce companies like Amazon, Best Buy, UPS, and Walmart.
Leasing for Velocity 65 Trade Center Building 2 was led by Phil and Greg Charmoli with Louisville-based Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Kentucky Inc.
The Louisville market is on pace to have one if its best years ever with regards to net absorption and more product is on the way at Velocity 65 Trade Center to meet demand. Browning has multiple sites available and will be starting speculative construction on two new buildings, Building 3 (708,000 square feet) and Building 5 (235,000 square feet), at Velocity 65 in early 2022.
