Real estate developer Buckingham Companies has released the final plans for its seven-building residential apartment development in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati.
The seven three-story buildings will be blocated between Madison, Cardiff and Ridge avenues.
The development’s buildings will include 272 apartments. The buildings will feature flat roofs, brick-and-stone facades and varying color palettes. Buckingham will pursue LEED for Homes certification.
Plans also call for direct access to the Madison Road pedestrian bridge, which will connect the development to Oakley Station and downtown Oakley. The apartment homes will be less than half-a-mile from the center of downtown, and just a five-minute walk to shopping, dining and leisure activities.
Construction will begin in May of 2014 and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2015. Buckingham Construction Company, the construction division of Buckingham Companies, will lead the development as general contractor.
