Buffalo Grove, Illinois-based PREMIER Design + Build Group hired Ed Pitula as Executive Vice President. In his new role, Pitula will oversee operations and strategic growth throughout PREMIER’s Central Region while working closely with leadership to strengthen client relationships and expand market presence.
Pitula brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience spanning the development and construction industries. Throughout his career, he has led teams and organizations on both the developer and contractor sides of the business, delivering more than 12.7 million square feet of commercial real estate representing more than $700 million in construction value while partnering with corporate real estate investment companies and Fortune 500 clients nationwide. His experience spans industrial, corporate office, higher education, medical office, and sports performance facilities, with particular expertise in large-scale industrial development and design-build project delivery. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, reflecting his commitment to sustainable building practices and industry excellence.
As Executive Vice President, Pitula will provide strategic leadership for PREMIER’s Central Region, partnering with regional teams to drive operational performance, support business development efforts, mentor future leaders, and continue expanding the company’s presence throughout the Midwest.
Throughout his career, Pitula has led every stage of the development process, from site selection and due diligence through jurisdictional approvals, design, and construction. That end-to-end experience allows him to help clients navigate complex projects with confidence while building strong relationships among project stakeholders. He is also active within the commercial real estate industry and serves on the Board of the Building Block Foundation Fund, a nonprofit organization supporting charitable initiatives throughout the industry.
