C/S Packaging, an independent packaging distribution company, leased 50,298 square feet of industrial warehouse at 1250 Douglas Road in Batavia, Illinois. With this latest tenant, the 137,573-square-foot industrial building is now 100 percent occupied.
Nick Eboli and Jim Planey of Lee & Associates’ Illinois office represented the landlord. Victoria Knudson and Agata Szlezak of Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant, C/S Packaging. The building’s other tenants are Focus Logistics and CAST Aluminum who were represented by Jace Murray of Murray Commercial and Jack Brennan of Cawley Chicago, respectively.
“This state-of-the-art facility offering a corporate image, flexibility to allow for tenant specific requirements and a Fox Valley location were all key components to being able to complete these transactions,” Eboli said.
Located in the Central Kane industrial submarket a few minutes from the I-88 and Kirk Road interchange, the 137,573-square-foot industrial warehouse was constructed in 2017. The property features 30-foot clear height, ESFR sprinklers and dedicated parking for 13 trailers and 49 short trailer/straight trucks. The addition of this property will allow C/S Packaging to expand their Chicago operations and presence within the area.
