Avison Young completed the sale of a 343,250-square-foot industrial portfolio in Chicago’s north suburbs to a Canadian-based institutional buyer.
The two class-A facilities are located near I-94 and in a business park setting with tenants such as Abbott, Blue Cross Blue Shield, FedEx, Uline and Abbie.
Building features include T-8 and T-12 lighting, 26-inch to 34-inch clear heights and 400 car parking spaces. Upgrades include electric car charging station and laser guided self-driving forklift aisles. Each building has approximately 20 percent of office space.
The portfolio is located at 2200 and 2300 Norman Drive. The tenants are Peer Chain and Peer Bearing.
