Carl Walker, Inc. recently completed construction of a 385-space parking structure expansion to the west side of the Thompson Street parking structure on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The eight-level expansion is an important part of the university’s parking and transportation strategic plan.
A two-story, 9,000-square-foot building was constructed adjacent to the parking structure. It houses the relocated and expanded parking and transportation services office and budget and planning office.
With the addition, the parking structure now holds about 1,060 vehicles.
