Cassidy Turley recently earned a Corporate Caring Award in the health category from Columbus Business First. Cassidy Turley won the award for its All for the Troops campaign.
Columbus Business First’s awards program honors companies that provide help to a variety of non-profit organizations. In 2013, Cassidy Turley associates volunteered 400 hours for its All for the Troops campaign, raising more than $45,000 in monetary and in-kind contributions and sending more than 300 boxes to troops overseas.
Cassidy Turley received its honor during the 2014 Corporate Caring Awards luncheon held June 19 at the Columbus Hyatt Regency.
All for the Troops is a week-long campaign that runs during the first week of Sept. 11. During this period, Cassidy Turley invites the public and its corporate partners to collect food, hygiene and household items to be sent to military personnel serving overseas.
