CBRE arranged the sale of a six-property, 589-room Hilton select‑service and extended stay hotel portfolio located across Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri. Chatham Lodging Trust acquired the portfolio in a transaction that closed March 3.
The CBRE Chicago Hotels team led by Nate Sahn and James Foxx represented the seller, McHugh Hospitality Group, in the transaction.
The portfolio is comprised of six Hilton-branded assets strategically positioned along major Midwest transportation corridors, including Interstates 57, 70, and 44. The properties included:
- Home2 Suites Effingham
- Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham
- Hampton Inn & Suites Paducah
- Homewood Suites Paducah
- Home2 Suites Joplin
- Homewood Suites Joplin
Together, the assets offer a diversified room mix across select‑service and extended stay formats, benefiting from strong and stable demand drivers including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and regional sports and tourism. Recent renovations across multiple properties and long-term Hilton franchise agreements position the portfolio for continued competitive performance.
