CBRE arranged two 20-year lease extensions totaling 233,694 square feet for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s PPD™ clinical research business along Research Way in Middleton, Wisconsin.

The Boston-based life sciences company will continue to occupy both laboratory buildings in support of the business’s rapid growth and commitment to advancing life sciences innovation.

CBRE’s Chase Brieman and James West represented the landlord, an affiliate of New York City-based global investment manager Nuveen, in the lease negotiations. Thermo Fisher was represented by John Boyle and Roger Williams of Cushman & Wakefield and Craig Stanley and Deana Porter of Broadwing Advisors.

The properties are located just west of U.S. Highways 12 and 14, near several business parks, as well as numerous local amenities, including restaurants, shopping centers, hotels and fitness centers.
