Cedar Street Co., a leading diversified holding company headquartered in Chicago, has announced the sale of FLATS NO. 2500, a 28-unit multifamily property located at 2500 N Clybourn Ave Chicago, IL 60614, according to Alex Samoylovich, Managing Partner. The asset was brokered internally by Cedar Street Commercial broker Alex Najem and commanded a sales price of $8,200,000. Cedar Street Co., well known in Chicago for re-stabilizing distressed assets to rebuild communities, acquired the multi-family building as a purchase note from First Merrit for $1,800,000. CLK Properties, looking to expand into Chicago, purchased the property. Cedar Street Co. plans to leverage this sale into more value add projects on the north side including FLATS Chicago.
