The Chicago Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® officeswill soon be under one roof. C.A.R will be relocating from its current space at 200 S. Michigan Ave., to the REALTOR® Building, 430 N. Michigan Ave., by December 2016.
While the design process is underway, construction is set to begin in September on the eighth floor of N.A.R’s headquarter building. C.A.R has a total of 13,500 members and 8,000 students, according to Dan Wagner, president of C.A.R. and vice president of government relations for the Inland Real Estate Group of Companies
Plans call for the new space to be an open, inviting and collaborative environment for C.A.R.’s members, staff and students, with a focus on flexible spaces to be used for a variety of purposes.
At this time, expanded technology includes improved Wi-Fi connectivity, cell phone signals for all major providers and improved A/V in classrooms and meeting spaces.
