The Chicago Real Estate Council brought together a prestigious group of lenders to discuss the state of the commercial mortgage lending market, 2018 production forecasts and market trends. The presentation, Real Estate Capital Markets Outlook, was held on February 20, 2018 at Maggiano’s Little Italy.
Joining moderator David Hendrickson, who leads the Midwest real estate investment banking group at JLL, were Stephen Azar, vice president at Stockbridge Capital Group; Daniel Hayes, vice president—real estate debt at Heitman, LLC; Christy Lockridge, principal at PGIM Real Estate Finance and John Luka, managing director—regions capital markets at Regions Securities.
The panelists discussed the current state of the capital markets and their 2018 outlook. Topics included key emerging trends that will shape the real estate market this year, forecasting the future for real estate investment and development and the outlook for U.S. real estate property sectors, finance and capital markets.
