311 South Wacker in Chicago has signed a lease for 6,800 square feet with Equinix, a global interconnection and data center company, for a new sales office on the building’s 16th floor.
The broker for Equinix is Alex Smith of Cushman & Wakefield and brokers for 311 South Wacker are Cody Sundberg and Howard Meyer of Zeller Realty Group.
The West Loop office tower also signed two additional new leases for 10,900 square feet and renewed a 5,900-square-foot lease earlier in April. OneChicago, a trading firm, signed a new 5,669-square-foot lease on the 17th floor and Ryan Law signed a new lease for 5,919 square feet on the 49th floor.
Ryan, LLC currently occupies the full 48th floor at the property. Novantas renewed its lease for 5,919 square feet on the 24th floor. The broker for OneChicago is Rich Schulz of The J Rich Company. The broker for Ryan Law is Scott Merz of Savills Studley. ZRG’s Sundberg and Meyer represented 311 South Wacker.
Zeller Realty Group acquired 311 South Wacker in March of 2014 and has since completed 20 leasing deals for a total of 100,000 square feet. Building ownership is currently in negotiations for an additional 40,000 square feet.
