LM Value Investors, LLC, a Chicago-area real estate investment fund, has completed an extensive renovation of The Crossings of Schererville, a 115,443-square-foot office building in Schererville, Ind.
The fund purchased the building in December of 2012 and has been revitalizing the interior and exterior of the building, modernizing the building’s mechanical and aesthetic features and increasing the number of tenants. LM Value Investors is managed by LM Commercial Development, a division of Lagestee-Mulder Inc.
There will be an Open House for tenants, area businesses, and community and government leaders on May 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the improvements. The event will be at the building, 833 W. Lincoln Highway.
The renovation project included significant upgrades to the building’s lobby, atrium, and main entrance, along with new roofing and exterior signage, including new marquee signs along Route 31 and 40, which are scheduled to be installed this summer. The building has a striking, glass atrium that connects the two four-story office sections.
Earles Architects and Associates of Chicago provided the interior design and construction planning services.
