Chicago-based The Apartment Source (TAS), a real estate firm specializing in multifamily leasing, merged its property management division with Westward360, a provider of real estate property management services for rental property owners and community associations.

This merger will allow TAS to focus on its core strengths in multifamily leasing while providing Westward360 superior leasing services.

The collaboration brings together two leaders in the Chicago real estate market, enhancing its service and market reach for a stronger, more expansive presence. TAS’ recognition as a platinum producer for five consecutive years by the Chicago Association of Realtors highlights its leasing expertise. Westward360’s strong track record for client satisfaction and offices throughout Chicago underscore its extensive market presence. Additionally, both companies have earned spots on the Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing companies. Together, these accomplishments position both companies for continued success.

“We’re incredibly proud of the property management division we’ve built at The Apartment Source,” said Tyson Schutz, President and Managing Broker of TAS. “As we’ve grown, we’ve realized that this division requires more resources to maintain the unparalleled service our brokerage is known for. This partnership with Westward360 allows each of our companies to focus on what we do best while collectively providing the best possible service to our tenants and landlords.”

“As a property owner myself, I understand the unique challenges of managing property,” said Nathan Brown, CIO of Westward360. “Over the last 20 years, we’ve built an organization focused on the needs of our clients. Managing real estate is multifaceted and requires creating and maintaining partnerships that align with the goals of our clients. Our partnership with The Apartment Source is that perfect alignment that will allow an enhanced experience to both landlords and tenants.”

This merger reflects the strong commitment of both companies to growth and serving the local community. Westward360’s trusted reputation in property management will help TAS expand into new Chicago and suburban markets, while Westward360 will broaden its portfolio, reinforcing their shared position and ensuring they continue delivering top-notch service to their clients.
