The city of Omaha recently honored Bob Campos, former president of Omaha’s Campos Construction, by dedicating the new Bob Campos Soccer Complex.
Campos, nicknamed the “Prince of Omaha,” has been a long-time supporter of youth sports in Omaha, especially baseball and soccer. The soccer complex is the second sports facility named after Campos in the Omaha area. Gross Catholic High School’s baseball field is named “Campos Baseball Field.”
Campos retired from Campos Construction in 2000. He is still an active board member with USHLI, the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute.
