Chicago- based Clayco – a full service, design-build real estate development, architecture, engineering and construction firm – and Venture One Real Estate – have broken ground for the new Stella & Chewy’s headquarters in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Elected officials participated in a formal groundbreaking ceremony on June 12, 2014, joining representatives from both companies. The 164,000-square-foot building will be located in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and will replace the company’s existing headquarters in Milwaukee.
Clayco serves as the design-builder and is working in partnership with developer Venture One. Clayco’s design firm, Forum Studio, serves as the architect. The project will be completed in early 2015.
“Our team is taking the utmost care in creating a space that not only meets the company’s growing needs but feels welcoming to the individuals and their pets who will be here each day,” said Kevin McKenna, Executive Vice President at Clayco.
Stella & Chewy’s is an all-natural pet products manufacturer dedicated to improving the health and wellness of dogs and cats. The 23,700 square feet facility is a freezer/cooler building with production and distribution space, as well as administrative offices. Forum Studio’s innovative design is pet-friendly and includes an outdoor dog run.
