Clear Height Properties welcomes new vice president, asset management and acquisitions

Kevin Bufalino

Clear Height Properties has hired Kevin Bufalino as its new vice president of asset management and acquisitions. Bufalino will help capture new opportunities to further expand the asset management platform as the real estate investment and management firm continues to enjoy tremendous growth through significant Midwest industrial real estate acquisition activity.

Bufalino delivers a strong combination of financial analytical skills and operational experience, bringing a unique perspective to asset management at Clear Height Properties. Collaborating closely with Clear Height executive and property management teams, he will oversee assets’ full lifecycle, from identifying opportunities, performing due diligence and leading acquisitions to the execution of each asset’s business plan—conceptualizing and implementing strategies to maximize value for the portfolio.

Bufalino honed his asset management and business strategy skills as a vice president of Geller Capital Partners, where he was responsible for acquisition and asset management of the firm’s $750 million hospitality portfolio. Before that, he gained experience in office, multifamily, senior housing and industrial real estate sectors with Ernst & Young.

Bufalino said that in addition to a financial impact for the company, he wants to make a meaningful difference for the businesses who lease Clear Height properties, so they can grow their own operations and achieve their own goals. “Industrial is the backbone of America,” says Bufalino. “Being able to draw upon a wide range of ideas and strategies to help these owners succeed—to lift everyone up—is a great benefit.”

Bufalino holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and an MSA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
