Colliers International | Chicago’s Kelly Joyce and Vern Schultz represented Venture One in its 28,022-square-foot, full-building headquarters lease to Perfect Turf. The free-standing industrial property is located at 5540 Meadowbrook Court in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Perfect Turf will make the move from 230 Gerry Drive in Wood Dale, Illinois in January 2019. The new lease represents an expansion of about 15,000 square feet for the manufacturers and distributers of synthetic turf products.
“The building was ideally suited for the tenant’s real estate requirements and the 6B tax classification was an especially important economic consideration,” said Joyce.
Joyce and Schultz arranged the sale of the building, then vacant, to Venture One earlier in 2018. Venture One is in the process of upgrading the facility with an overhaul of the office space, and the addition of new HVAC units, a new roof and repaved parking lot. Perfect Turf was represented by Lee & Associates’ Ken Franzese and Joe Feeney.
