Colliers’ Michael Gelfman and Nate Karrick have secured a 67,000-square-foot lease at Norman Pointe II, an office building at 5600 American Blvd. in Bloomington, Minnesota, on behalf of building ownership.
Burns & McDonnell, a 100% employee-owned engineering, construction and architecture firm, has signed one of the largest office leases in the Minneapolis market this year, taking space at the Class-A building. It is a significant increase from the 45,000 square feet Burns & McDonnell had at their previous location at 8201 Norman Center Dr. in Bloomington.
Norman Pointe II is situated at the I-494 and Highway 100 interchange, one of the most traveled areas in the Twin Cities with exposure to over 100,000 drivers per day. Built in 2007, the ten-story building totals 331,447 square feet and offers a range of modern amenities including a cafe, 100-person conference facility, fitness center, daycare, as well as covered and executive parking for 1,362 cars.
