Colliers International has closed the sale of the Awrey’s Bakery building at 12301 Farmington Road in Livonia, Michigan.
Raffi Derbabian, vice -resident at Colliers International Detroit, in conjunction with representatives from two other Colliers branches, represented the seller, NJ Ventures, LLC, in the investment sale of the 219,225-square-foot facility.
The well-known, 103-year-old institution that sits on 20 acres was sold to an undisclosed buyer, who will continue to have Awrey’s operate its bakery production out of the building.
Originally founded in 1910, this bakery remains as one of the largest, privately owned bakeries in the country.
