Software development company MichiganLabs will expand into the second floor of 452 Ada Drive in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this October. Colliers International|West Michigan represented MichiganLabs in this transaction.
MichiganLabs develops software for mobile, web and Internet of Things (IoT) across a variety of industries. MichiganLabs serves clients ranging from locally owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies and has more than 5 million end users.
In December of 2017, MichiganLabs leased 2,541 square feet on the third floor of its current location that also includes a 620-square-foot deck. The new office space, which will be called “The Lab,” is located on the second floor and will allow MichiganLabs to expand its services and hire additional developers, including 12 employees. The second floor offers an additional suite that MichiganLabs could expand into as it grows.
MichiganLabs plans to renovate the space, including updating it with the firm’s branding, adding technology and conference rooms. First Companies is building out the space and Integrated Architecture is providing interior design services. MichiganLabs plans to move in Oct. 7.
