MichiganOffice Colliers International brings two new tenants to Michigan office building July 25, 2018 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email An office building located near the intersection of 3 Mile Road NW and Alpine Avenue in Walker, Michigan, will welcome two new tenants later this year thanks in part to Colliers International|West Michigan. My Community Dental Centers and Travelers Alliance Group LLC signed leases this spring for offices at 890 3 Mile Road NW. The upper level of the 10,000-square-foot office was vacant for nearly four years. The top floor previously had outdated dental suites and will be updated and occupied by the new tenants. “Once we took over the listing, we generated several offers on the building and eventually landed these two tenants,” said Jason Webb, associate vice president at Colliers International|West Michigan, in a written statement. “Through multiple meetings with the owner, we were able to help them understand how to offer an attractive lease to secure both long-term tenants and stabilize this investment.” The owner is making investments in the building’s common areas and has offered tenant improvement allowances for both of the new tenants. To make the building accessible to future tenant customers, the City of Walker worked with the owner to add a bus route to this location. Colliers represented the landlord. CARR represented My Communnith Dental Centers. Rockford Construction is renovating both suites and common areas of the building. My Community Dental Centers is a nonprofit organization that provides quality dental care for Medicaid enrollees and low-income, uninsured residents. It is opening its second Grand Rapids-area location. Travelers Alliance Group, a construction staffing firm for temporary employees, was formerly located in the Brassworks Building at 648 Monroe Ave. NW. Both companies plan to move in by the end of 2018. The office building is home to ground-level tenants including Wellspring Clinical Massage and AAA Insurance.
