Colliers International has hired high-profile expert Sara Terry to lead DFW’s office agency leasing group. Terry brings more than 20 years of experience to Colliers in commercial real estate ranging from property management, landlord and tenant representation and construction management.

“We are so thrilled to have Sara on board to lead this new division in our investor services group,” said Steve Everbach, president of Colliers International’s central region | U.S. brokerage. “Her addition rounds out our suite of services and will be highly complementary to our recent growth in investment sales. This suite of services is a major focus of growth for Colliers going forward and we expect to gain significant market share in the coming years.”

Terry previously served as senior vice president at Stream Realty in Dallas focusing on Class AA- high profile institutional quality assets. Her extensive and diverse background provides an advantage to her clients, as she offers a unique perspective and creative approach to problem solving.

“This is such a great opportunity to step into a leadership role for a major platform in Dallas and take it to the next level,” said Terry. “I’m ready to get started building a team and finalizing the strategy to map our growth. I couldn’t be more excited about leveraging the strength of Colliers’ global brand and reputation, which will allow us to capitalize on our long-term relationships in the institutional world.”

Prior to her relocation to Dallas in 2014, Terry spent much of her career with developer Crescent Communities, in Atlanta, Georgia, where she completed several large leases with multiple corporate relocations on behalf of the landlord, most notably, NCR and Carter’s/Osh Kosh.

Terry is a member of the Dallas chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW Dallas) and is currently serving on the board of directors. She attended Georgia State University, earning a BBA degree with a concentration in real estate and is a past president of the university’s Real Estate Alumni Group.

Just recently, Colliers added industry veterans Jorg Mast, Chris Paul and Danny Miller to its investment sales and capital markets services for clients who own or develop investment grade multifamily and mixed-use properties in Texas and the surrounding region.
