Colliers International is opening its first office in Dayton, Ohio. The company is launching its first physical office in the city at The Greene, an outdoor shopping center in the city.
Pete Nichols and Paul Miller, brokers who formerly worked with CBRE, will start the new office. Tammy Davidson will work at the office as a marketing assistant.
Shenan Murphy, the chief executive officer of Colliers’ Cincinnati office, will hold the same title at the Dayton office.
“We’ve had our eye on the Dayton market for some time and this move complements our decision to expand our operations in Greater Cincinnati to include a Dayton presence,” said Murphy, in a written statement. “With Pete and Paul’s leadership on the brokerage side, we expect to grow the Colliers’ brand throughout Dayton and the state of Ohio.”
Colliers International currently has Ohio offices in Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland. The Dayton office will be the newest addition to Ohio operations since the office launch in the Cleveland market in July of 2012.
Colliers officials say they expect the Dayton office to grow to include 10 additional brokers in the next 18 months.
