Conexon, a Kansas City-based provider of high-speed internet for rural communities, is moving its headquarters to a new 48,827-square-foot space at Stanton Road Capital’s 2323 Grand Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri.
The company was previously headquartered at nearby 2001 Grand Boulevard, also known as the Firestone Building.
Conexon will take over the entire fourth and a portion of the third floor at 2323 Grand, which is seeing strong leasing demand in 2025, adding to the refreshed energy of the Crown Center area. Located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, 2323 Grand sits at the intersection of the Crossroads Art District and Crown Center directly across from Union Station and the new RideKC streetcar station.
In addition to Conexon, law firm Lathrop GPM recently announced an upcoming relocation of its HQ to 2323 Grand. While existing tenants, advisory firm Glass Lewis and law firm Brown & Ruprecht, have inked lease renewals in the past quarter. Local favorite, Grand Coffee Co., also opened its new location within the building offering elevated food, beverage and catering options to both tenants and the public. In total, 2323 Grand has executed 110,414 SF in both new leases and renewals in 2025.
These new and existing tenants were drawn by SRC’s investment in the building’s overall amenities and employee experience, such as a conference center with seating for up to 135 guests, updated gym, employee lounge, and spacious dining and patio areas. The 320,976 SF, 11-story, Class “A” building offers on-site parking, flexible floor plates, as well as spec suites. Stanton Road Capital acquired the property in late 2017.
