David J. Friedman, President of Conor Commercial Real Estate, a member of The McShane Companies, has announced the creation of the position of Chief Investment Officer and that Molly McShane has been promoted to that role.
A seasoned 12-year veteran of the commercial real estate development and construction industries and reporting directly to the President, McShane will provide strategic guidance of Conor Commercial’s national development activities within the industrial, office, healthcare and multi-family markets and office at the firm’s Rosemont, Illinois headquarters.
In her role as Chief Investment Officer of Conor Commercial Real Estate, McShane is responsible for the overall investment process and provides assistance in the firm’s strategy development, research, and best-in-class execution of all development activities. Her expertise will enhance Conor Commercial’s systems and processes including risk management and investment strategies. McShane also serves as a member of Conor Commercial’s Investment Committee and the firm’s Advisory Board of Directors.
She will work closely with John A. Dobrott, the firm’s President – Industrial Division, and Conor Commercial’s regional development professionals to structure optimum development/investment opportunities. McShane will also be involved with special projects including new product development.
