The historic Linwood Law building in Kansas City, Mo., has been sold to Ichabod Enterprises, LLC.  Molly Crawford of Copaken Brooks represented the seller, Linwood Law, Inc.

Located at 204 W. Linwood Blvd. in Kansas City, the 104-year-old building is made up of 9,214 square feet of office space and a walkout basement of 4,607 square feet.  The building sits on a corner property in an area of midtown Kansas City that sees steady traffic.

“The building had a few challenges,” Crawford said. “But it also has a unique appeal as a historic building with many original features and fixtures.  Finding the right buyer that valued the historical aspects of the building was important.”

Previously a funeral home and then an ad agency, the building has housed a law firm since the 1980s. The buyer will use the existing offices for its law firm, and has plans for future redevelopment/expansion on the north wing of the building for a Tapas restaurant.
