An affiliate of Core Acquisitions has acquired the Bloomington Commons shopping center in Bloomington, Illinois.
The grocery-anchored shopping center, which features national and regional tenants, is located at the intersection of Veterans Highway and E. Empire Street at the center of the retail trade area in the Bloomington-Normal market.
Tenants include Schnucks, Olive Garden, Chuck E Cheese, Barnes & Noble and Jo-Ann Fabrics. The shopping center is 188,250-square feet and located near other retailers, State Farm World Headquarters and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.
May Real Estate represented the seller, an affiliate of Kimco Realty Corporation. The acquisition was financed by Old National Bank.
