Timothy Blum, executive vice president of Retail Development for HSA Commercial Real Estate, announced that Corner Bakery Cafe will open its first Wisconsin location later this year at The Mayfair Collection in Wauwatosa, Wis.

Neo Fourno Inc., a franchise partner of CBC Restaurant Corp. owned by experienced local restaurateurs Dimitri Dimitropoulos and Peter Dimitropoulos, will operate the 4,000-square-foot location near the entrance to the project at Burleigh Street and 114th Street.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Corner Bakery Cafe has chosen The Mayfair Collection as the place to introduce its brand to the state of Wisconsin,” said Tim Blum. “Though it took a little patience, we believe that we have found the best possible café and coffee shop for our customers and future residents to enjoy.”

The Mayfair Collection, which features premier promotional fashion retailers including Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Ulta Beauty, and more, opened to huge crowds of customers in April 2014. The project’s construction consisted of adaptively repurposing functionally obsolete warehouse buildings along Highway 45 into new, contemporary retail environments that have been enjoyed by thousands of shoppers from across the metro Milwaukee area since the shopping center’s grand opening. HSA Commercial will break ground next month on the second phase to be anchored by Whole Foods Market and a 140-room Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel.
