The corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants, Cresa Chicago, successfully represented Hickory Farms, Inc., in negotiating a lease renewal and restructure that will keep its facility in Joliet, Illinois, for the next several years. The decision to stay in Joliet is the culmination of a multistate evaluation of real estate alternatives.
Mark Montana, Managing Principal of Cresa and Rob Wheeler, Vice President of Cresa’s Industrial Services Group represented Hickory Farms, Inc. in crafting a new lease for a 205,000 square feet space with Northern Builders at Cherry Hill Business Park in Joliet / New Lenox, Illinois.
“This project was a text book case study in industrial site selection,” said Wheeler. “These decisions are about more than just real estate, it was an honor to be part of the strategic planning process of Hickory Farms”.
Trevor Ragsdale of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Northern Builders in negotiation of the agreement.
