A new baseball training center will soon call Wisconsin home thanks to Cresa Madison.
Cresa Madison represented CIBA Sport Center in leasing a 24,800-square-foot facility in Middleton, Wis. Champions International Baseball Academy (CIBA) will open its doors to the general public on Nov. 17.
CIBA is in the process of converting the former Bowling Green bowling alley into a facility that will be used to train elite youth baseball players. The facility will be the first of its kind in Wisconsin. It’s goal is to develop players to achieve careers in professional baseball.
Luis Abreu, a former Minor League baseball player with the Twin and Marlins organizations, and Chris McKnight, a current associate scout with the Philadelphia Phillies, will oversee the facility’s operations.
The indoor facility will contain a turf field, five batting cages, training room and sit-down restaurant. The outdoor space includes a baseball diamond that will provide CIBA with on-site instruction for its traveling baseball teams and the ability to host tournaments.
Cresa Madison was engaged by CIBA to find a location that could serve as the company’s headquarters and accommodate CIBA’s indoor and outdoor baseball diamonds.
