Nearly 100 employee volunteers with Cushman & Wakefield joined Indy Parks and Recreation and the Indianapolis Parks Foundation for an eighth annual Day of Caring on May 17. This year, their efforts benefitted Eagle Creek Park, 7840 W. 56th St., in Indianapolis.

Volunteers worked on improvement projects such as mulching several playgrounds, painting picnic tables and shelters, and beautifying several areas. This year, Landscape Solutions is donating 500 cubic yards of mulch.

“We appreciate Cushman & Wakefield’s ongoing commitment to beautifying our parks,” said Dominic Cornett, senior manager of community partnerships for Indy Parks. “Their employee volunteers work hard every year, and we know park-goers will enjoy the results of their efforts.”

Previous Cushman & Wakefield Day of Caring projects include the beautification of Krannert Park, Juan Solomon Park, Arsenal Park, Al Polin Park, Stringtown Park, Broad Ripple Park and Northwestway Park.
