Cushman & Wakefield represented the Cricket Sports brand CrossBat in its 18,000-square-foot lease at 3150 W. County Road 42 in Burnsville, Minnesota.

This location marks the launch of CrossBat’s flagship cricket facility, with plans to expand nationally in the future.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jake Kelly represented CrossBat in the leasing transaction, while KW Commercial’s Andrew Manthai represented the property owner, Metro Center LLC.

CrossBat has signed a long-term lease and transformed the space into a state-of-the-art indoor cricket venue, delivering best-in-class infrastructure for Minnesota’s growing cricketing community. This expansion sets the tone for a new era of cricket experience in Minnesota, to develop world-class cricketers from the state with the broader goal of developing elite cricket talent in the U.S.

CrossBat opened its doors in late April, and offers a wide array of services for sports enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals. The amenities include box cricket leagues, nine full-length lanes for practice, cricket events, corporate team-building experiences and a best-in-class coaching and advisory framework.

Cricket is the world’s second-most popular sport and is experiencing rapid growth in the United States, driven by strong performances by the U.S. men’s, women’s and under-19 teams; increasing media exposure; and the sport’s inclusion in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Minnesota is home to 100+ teams, multiple leagues and a passionate community of players and fans.
