Cushman & Wakefield took home awards for Broker Transaction of the Year –Office Investment and Broker Transaction of the Year – Industrial at NAIOP Chicago’s 27th Annual Awards for Excellence dinner.

Last night’s results are a reflection of our high-caliber team and of the great opportunities brought to us by our clients,” said Shawn Mobley, C&W’s Chicago Market Leader who was in attendance at last night’s event.
The Awards event was well-attended by commercial real estate’s leading professionals including a group of other C&W nominated brokers and team members. Award nominees were voted on and selected as winners by attendees live at the event.
C&W’s Brian Nagle and Jerrod Wigal won Broker Transaction of the Year – Office Investment for their work on the sale/leaseback of Tellabs’ headquarters at 1415 W. Diehl Road in Naperville. The transaction was the largest suburban office investment sale since 2007.
Jason West and Sean Henrick of C&W were also on hand at the event to see their work with Ferrara Candy Company win the Broker Transaction of the Year – Industrial award. The C&W team represented the owner of 901 Carlow Drive in Bollingbrook, Heitman LLC, in the 747,152 square foot transaction with Ferrara.
In addition to winning in two categories, C&W had finalists across three additional NAIOP Awards for Excellence categories: Broker Transaction of the Year – Downtown Office, Broker Transaction of the Year – Industrial Investment and Property Management Firm of the Year.
