Darwin Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Jeffrey Provenza and Associate Rollo Dace recently worked together to represent Garage Door Supplies in its sublease of 30,000 square feet at 6558 W. 73rd Street in Bedford Park.
The manufacturer and distributor of garage doors and related parts was looking for a building with good access to highways in the Chicago area.
“This is an older building, but its prime location near I-55 made it ideal for this mid-size tenant,” Provenza says. “The I-55 submarket has very low vacancy and our diligence allowed us to find a great sublease space for the tenant to expand its business.”
The 35,000-square-foot building has 23 foot clear height and five exterior dock doors. The building has 300 car parking spaces and 600 amps of power. The short-term 18-month sublease gives the new tenant flexibility to change locations in the near future.
