Darwin Realty & Development Corp. has announced the sale of 62,000 square feet at 11419 Smith Drive in Huntley. The purchaser, Impact Plastics Corp., is relocating from their facility in Elgin to accommodate their growing business.
Impact Plastics specializes in the distribution and manufacture of container lids for the waste industry. Features of the building include 7,500 square feet of office, 22-foot clear ceilings, seven exterior docks and 1600 amps of power. The building sits on 4.7 acres of land and is served by a Union Pacific rail spur. Noel S. Liston, principal, director of brokerage services, was the sole broker in the transaction.
