Darwin Realty & Development Corporation announced that industrial associate Doug Pilcher has recently been promoted to vice president. Pilcher offers a full range of brokerage services including tenant representation, owner representation, build-to-suit projects, site selection, and investment acquisition and disposition services.
In 2014, he completed over 650,000 square feet in transactions totaling more than $26 million in value. Recently he completed several larger transactions, including an investment sale of a fully-leased 167,000 square-foot distribution center and the sale of a 378,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Central DuPage. Those two transactions alone totaled $40 million in value.
Pilcher joined Darwin in 2010 after a successful academic and athletic career at the University of Illinois. He played football and earned both a masters and a bachelors degree in finance, with a specialization in real estate.
