DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International Vice President Chris Mergenthaler represented The Junkluggers of Chicago NW Suburbs, a junk removal, recycling, and reuse business, in its lease of a 12,250 square foot space at 425 Airport Road in Elgin, Illinois.
The company is expanding and relocating from another location in the northwest suburb.
The 24-foot clear height and extra-large 12-foot by 14-foot drive-in doors were attractive to The Junkluggers for bringing in unwanted materials with the hope of repurposing everything they haul away. The front quarter of the building is already set up as a showroom/retail space which The Junkluggers will use for its resale business, ReMix Market.
ReMix Market is a part of the The Junkluggers brand and works with charity partners, e.g. Cal’s Angels, by donating a percentage of revenue.
Don Meyer of Showplace Realty represented the private landlord in the transaction. The Junkluggers moved into the building last month.
