On January 24, representatives from DLR Group joined Janko Group and The Gettys Group to celebrate the opening of The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
Located at 5200 Pearl Street, The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare officially opened its doors in November 2018 and is the first boutique offering in Rosemont, Illinois. It is one of the closest hotels to Chicago O’Hare International Airport and offers guests easy access to Allstate Arena, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Rivers Casino.
“The hotel is a key component of the recently developed and visionary Pearl District,” said DLR Group principal Steve Cavanaugh, AIA, LEED AP. “To echo the aesthetic of its location and the overall theme of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand, our team drew inspiration from provocative and edgy art pieces. Canted walls at the east and west corners create a dynamic, eye-catching façade for the building’s exterior, making the hotel—and by extension, the brand—easily recognizable from the adjacent freeway.”
The 99,317-square-foot, five-story, 165-key hotel includes a lobby space with interactive art, and locally-inspired “grab & go” food options at the market. It also offers flexible, technology-rich meeting spaces as well as small meeting pods to reserve for personal use. The hotel’s striking exterior is complemented by modern chic interior design from The Gettys Group.
