Detroit’s Sachse expands business development department

Detroit-based Sachse Construction hired Samantha Russo-Ardelean as the newest member of its Business Development department.

In her new role, Russo-Ardelean will serve Sachse Construction as a relationship builder orchestrating commercial business development opportunites: locating, developing, defining business relationships for the team. Russo-Ardelean will provide strategic oversight and support through all phases of the construction process. She will report to Jay McKee, Sachse’s Vice President, Director of Pre-Construction.

Russo-Adrelean’s prior experience includes working as project engineer of multimillion dollar renovations in Detroit, as well as taking on new business development and contract management roles. Previous projects include the renovations of General Motors tech center in Warren, as well as a multifamily new build project in Detroit.

Russo-Ardelean earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and political science from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
