GBT Realty Corporation started construction on Parke West, a mixed-use project near Nashville, Tennessee’s West End neighborhood. This comes after GBT added local partner Chartwell Hospitality to its project team.

GBT also recently secured a construction loan for the project from First Horizon Bank.

Updated development plans for Parke West now include a 172-key, dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites Hotel that will be developed and managed by Chartwell Hospitality.

The development will feature additional residential with 210 units that offer premium features and amenities. An open courtyard bolstered by landscaping and open-air terraces and 11,000 square feet of retail with a restaurant with outdoor seating will complete the ground-level amenities.

Of the 172 rooms in the planned hotel, 69 are dedicated to Home2 Suites while 110 are Hilton Garden Inn rooms. An upscale fitness center, elevated amenity deck and lobby areas will be shared by both brands in addition to about 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Expected to be completed in 2022, Parke West features a bifurcated design connected by an open courtyard between the residences and hotel buildings, that also connects to the area’s pedestrian and biking infrastructure and the project’s ground-level retail.

Likewise, Parke West residential plans elevate the options currently available in the market. In addition to premium finishes, the units on average will include larger footprints to cater to more settled residents. Two outdoor amenity spaces in the multi-family building encourage outdoor social activities as well as resident pets.
