Kelly Joyce, vice president with Colliers International | Chicago’s Industrial Advisory Group, represented Get Fresh Produce Inc. in a 51,925-square-foot new lease at 1456 Brewster Creek Drive in Bartlett. The new lease represents an expansion from its current facility located directly adjacent to the property.
Get Fresh Produce Inc. started out in 1982 as a retail produce store in Chicago, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy. In 2009, the privately owned supplier and distributor of fresh produce to the restaurant and commercial food industry moved into 86,000 square feet at 1441 Brewster Creek Drive, a custom built LEED designed facility. The growing company required additional space for distribution of dry goods and fresh food processing.
“1456 Brewster Creek Drive was the perfect choice for this expansion, as it is located just across the street from Get Fresh Produce’s corporate offices and warehouse facility,” Joyce said. “In addition to the convenience of the location, the property offers the same quality construction and custom food-related features that Get Fresh was accustomed to in its current facility.”
Get Fresh Produce is expected to occupy the additional location this month.
