WisconsinSeniors Housing Heartis Village seniors housing development opens near Milwaukee November 9, 2019 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email Pathway to Living, a Chicago-based developer, owner and operator of senior housing communities and the senior housing arm of Chicago-based real estate investor and operator Waterton, has opened Heartis Village Brookfield in Brookfield, Wisconsin, along with the property’s owner and developer Caddis Healthcare Real Estate. Pathway and Caddis will hold a grand-opening ceremony for the 105-unit assisted living and memory support community at 16040 W. Greenfield Ave. on Nov. 13. Brookfield Mayor Steven Ponto will be among the speakers joining Pathway and Caddis executives at the event, while the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce will be present for a ribbon-cutting event. Situated across nearly 10 acres about 12 miles west of Milwaukee, the newly-constructed community offers 70 apartment-style assisted living units and a memory support neighborhood comprised of 34 ground-level studios. The property’s 70 assisted living apartments include a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom layouts ranging in size from 351 to 917 square feet. Assisted living residents enjoy on-site amenities and services including the Grove Dining Room and Bistro West restaurants; the Ruby Isle Theatre; the Sundara Salon and Spa; and the Willaura Library. A demonstration kitchen, exercise and therapy gym, community room and two outdoor courtyards with walking paths round out the amenity offerings for assisted living residents at Heartis Village Brookfield. The 34 ground-level memory support studios range in size between 293 to 306 square feet. Memory support residents have their own suite of amenities, including a country kitchen and dining room; sunroom; salon; four-seasons garden; living room spaces where they can relax, socialize and host guests; and a secure outdoor courtyard with a walking path and raised garden beds. Heartis Village Brookfield is the fourth Heartis-owned community managed by Pathway in addition to the newly-opened Heartis Village North Shore, a 104-unit assisted living and memory care community in Glendale, Wisconsin; Heartis of Yardley, a 99-unit assisted living and memory support community in Yardley, Pennsylvania, that is opening in 2020; and Heartis Village of Orland Park, a 96-unit assisted living and memory support community that opened in Orland Park, Illinois, in 2018.
