Horvath & Tremblay closes sale of pair of multifamily properties in Northwest Indiana

Horvath & Tremblay has completed the sale of two multifamily properties in Whiting and Hammond, Indiana, for a total of $1.148 million.

Anthony Spangler of Horvath & Tremblay completed the sale of six multifamily units in Whiting, Indiana.  Horvath & Tremblay represented the buyer to complete the transaction at a sale price of $580,000.

The multifamily investment property at 1913 Warwick Ave. in Whiting is made up of six two-Bedroom/one-Bathroom townhouse residential units with 9,360 square feet of total gross area on a 0.29-acre parcel of land.

The brick building was constructed in 1953 and features on-site parking. Each unit is separately metered for electricity and gas heat, which the tenants pay directly. 

Spangler also closed the sale of six multifamily units in Hammond, Indiana.  Horvath & Tremblay represented the seller to complete the transaction at a sale price of $568,000. The multifamily investment property, located at 1104 169th St. in Hammond, is made up of six one-bedroom/one-Bathroom units with 4,050 square feet of total gross area.

The brick apartment building was constructed in 1965 on a 0.14-acre parcel of land.  The property also features on-site parking for six vehicles.
