Kansas City-based Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development recently completed construction on the new Vatterott career education center in Kansas City, Mo.
The new $7.8 million facility sits on a 6.9-acre tract of land in the Hunt Midwest Commerce Center, an industrial park located just west of Interstate-435 at NE Parvin Road.
Classroom and administrative space account for 43,700 square feet of the 65,218-square-foot facility. An additional 21,518 square feet is devoted to vocational training. The campus also features a six-bay automotive and diesel shop and expanded parking for 230 vehicles.
Vatterott offers instruction in automotive, diesel, welding, wind energy, computer sciences and electrical heating/ventilation/air conditioning, as well as dental, medical, retail and business-management programs.
