Indiana’s Hoosier Energy names new manager

Chad Cornelius

Bloomington, Indiana-based Hoosier Energy has named Chad Cornelius manager of the project management office.

Cornelius and his team are responsible for ensuring standards, practices and procedures are consistently applied across the company’s project work plan. His primary focus is to build, standardize and continuously improve departmental and interdepartmental project management processes.

Cornelius’ team is also tasked with Hoosier’s project work plan management, establishing and implementing standardized administrative and execution procedures. The team also coordinates operations project justification.

Cornelius began his career with Hoosier Energy in 2010 as a construction field coordinator, and worked his way to engineering and performance manager, most recently serving as senior project manager. Before joining Hoosier Energy, he served with Sterling Boiler Mechanical and Hensel Phelps Construction in various engineering, construction and project management roles.

Cornelius earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in construction management in 2008.
