Inland National Development Company, LLC announced that Howard Brown Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (“LGBTQ+”) healthcare organizations, opened its newest healthcare center in Chicago’s Northalsted neighborhood.
After a competitive RFP process, INDC was selected as the developer for the Howard Brown Health project in January 2021.
Located at 3501 N. Halsted, the five-story, 76,000-square-foot healthcare center offers a full range of services including primary and specialty care and mental health and lab services. The facility currently features 38 exam rooms and 12 dental chairs. The ground floor space is home to Walgreens, streamlining access to medication for both Howard Brown Health patients and the local community.
Additionally, there are 26 indoor parking spaces servicing the facility. The Northhalsted location is expected to serve approximately 23,000 patients per year.
Founded in 1974, Howard Brown Health serves more than 38,000 adults and youth annually and currently has 10 clinics across Chicago’s neighborhoods.
