Inland Mortgage Capital hires senior analyst

Inland Mortgage Capital, LLC (“Inland Mortgage Capital”), a private lender specializing in intermediate-term mortgages for value-added commercial real estate in need of bridge financing, today announced the appointments of Marcus Perry as senior vice president of loan origination for the eastern region and Kevin Blaha as senior analyst in portfolio management.

In his new role, Perry will be responsible for all facets of Inland Mortgage Capital’s commercial real estate bridge loan origination for the eastern United States.

Perry has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience and knowledge in underwriting, due diligence, construction lending, acquisition valuation, revolving credit facilities and CMBS loan origination. Prior to joining Inland Mortgage Capital, he served as executive director at Barclays Capital, where he was responsible for CMBS loan origination, due diligence, closing and securitization processes. Perry holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also holds a Series 63 and 79 security licenses.

Blaha will be responsible for supporting the portfolio management team with financial analysis and research, including surveillance of the existing portfolio and in-depth research of targeted lending markets.

Prior to joining Inland Mortgage Capital, Blaha was vice president of the Real Estate Advisory Group for Duff & Phelps where he led 45 analysts, streamlined processes and increased operational proficiencies for commercial real estate property appraisals and valuations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The University of Illinois. He is an Illinois real estate broker and appraiser.
